TIFF Opening Day!
Well, Day One of TIFF, and it went well!
Saw one movie: Michael Clayton
Starring George Clooney.
Wow. I love this man. He directs, acts, he's really damn good at what he does. This movie is somewhat reminiscent of Syriana, but set in present day New York, and he's a lawyer. It's really good, a great ending, and when it gets out in wide release, I recommend it to EVERYONE!
Highlight of the day: Christopher handled the big tandem screening, line down the hall, down the 7/8 hall, down the concessions and continued out into the mall. Wicked. All hands were on deck for it, all three reps, the head rep and the VIP rep helped out. Three other movies were starting at the same time around it. Who handled all three at once, by themself??? Moi. Yes, I toot my own horn today!
Not going to the Gala Opening Party tonight. Too pooped, and really, it's not any fun unless you go with others, and the only party that is fun is the closing Staff/Volunteer party anyway.
