mmmm... sleepy...
Work was interesting today. I attended the CFLT (do not ask me what this acronym means, as I forgot immediately after being told) annual planning meeting from 9 this morning until almost 3:30 this afternoon. They had sandwiches catered by Red Rock (yes, like the bull, he lived here until he died, it IS a redneck town), which were fabulous, plus a green salad and a potato salad and yummy gooey chocolate chip cookies (I only had 1, I was good). After that we placed a young girl in foster care, did some paperwork, and made fun of Brian.
I went to Skip's to get the girls (Serra finally had a good day!), then came home. Then we went to the grocery store to get sodas and PB&J. The girls decided that they'd rather have lunchables tomorrow than sammiches, so that's what they're getting. They are currently packing their suitcase for the weekend. Dad will be attending 'special friend day' tomorrow, at 10 with Emma, and 11 with Serra. After that he's going to take them out of classes early, and keep them until Monday after I get off work. This saves me money, as Monday is in-service for their school district and I'd have to pay extra for Deana to keep them all day, instead I'll only be paying her $80 for the week. Yay!
My house is trashed, so the weekend will be spent cleaning and being an alcoholic for a few days. I'll be stripping the beds and replacing the girls' sheets with flannel, so they'll stop trying to sleep with me. All the sheets in the house get washed this weekend, and I think I'm gonna add an extra blanket to everyone's bed. PG&E will be sending someone out on Tuesday to inspect the heater, it's not working at all. That blows. It doesn't get really cold here, but it's cold enough for the heater. Hopefully it'll be easy to fix.
