Went to the Hollywood Bowl last night to see Herbie Hancock, Christian McBride, and Joshua Redman. To see the three of them headlining a show is pretty spectacular, so there was no excuse to not go. I brought a bunch of guys from work, plus Sarah's in town, and Meg came at the last second since I had a spare ticket

2 glasses of wine, minus dinner, plus the moon = fricking amaazing. i actually loved the spotlights crossing each other, over the dome, it felt like an indoor area, with an immensely high ceiling. i was so excited to go, thank you. thank you. that was brilliant. and the car adventure made it so much more memorable. i'm absolutely going back there ASAFP.
