For those of you not in the know, I was raised by a huge Star Trek fan.  Majel Barrett (really Majel Roddenberry) was the wife of Gene Roddenberry.  Now who's going to be the voice of the computer?  Bummer.

Sweetie's grandma died on the 21st.  4 months to the day after my mom.  Grandma was 93 & in very bad health.  She had a clot in her arm which was making it black & they were talking about ( Read more... )

We have 4 buildings at my work place.  Building A is the 1st one you see when you pull in.  It is where the nursing office is & where the residnets who need more care live.  Building B is where the residents who are a little more independent live.  It looks like a house with a motel attached.  It actually is a house.  It has a kitchen, a few ( Read more... )

Boy, yesterday was rough!  I got to crying & I got so down.  It was awful.  One of the many problems with working 2nd shift is my antidepressant.  I have to take it at night because it makes me very sleepy.  But the time I usually take it is now the time I'm at work.  So I keep taking it when I get home instead, then get very tired in the AM, ( Read more... )
