RIP Muppet (January 2006 - July 2008)
Here's Muppet in better days:
At the end of October last year he had so much difficulties walking that he couldn't get into the tubes of the cage above so I transferred him to a smaller cage without all the fancy stuff. Since last week when moving around the cage truly became an ordeal I put his food on the floor of the cage in front of the little house he slept in and had the water bottle nearby too so that he didn't have to go all the way through the cage to eat or drink. He was very happy with that and you could see that even moving a few inches was very tiresome and hard for him.
Thankfully for my dear Muppet its all over now that he's gone to a better place. But damn it's quiet at home now...
