It's coooooooold!
Due to the global warming problem we're all freezing our asses off here in Western Europe (logical, no?). My horse has two coats on and I only go outside dressed like an Eskimo and still half freezing to death on my way to and back from work. Gah! I don't mind cold and all but this is too much! -

The people on the island of Gran Canaria (where terrible forest fires last year burned down a large part of the island's vegetation) are thinking of looking into an ecological way of fighting forest fires. Maybe an idea for California as well? The climate is similar... Anyway, here's some Canary wisdom for ya:

Well let's do another update
Things still aren't going much better, although I've had a period where I was feeling better. I just recovered from a flu and am feeling quite tired again. Yesterday I lay in bed almost all day, I think I've only been up for about 2 hours or so, and I slept most of the time. As a result of that I now have a headache all day. That the prison system and parole board is in a total state of disrepair in California is old news (well, for those who are following it anyway). However, there's hope gloring on the horizon:
