I wonder what everyone's doing back home. It's kind of hard to believe I'm missing my own birthday.
Are they even celebrating it since I'm not there?
I guess it doesn't really matter. So I missed it! Big deal! At least I'm a year older, and that means I've only got two more years to go until I'm granted my own freedom. But what's going to happen then? Is what Master Van said about my power true? Are they really going to let me out of the manor when I turn twenty, or are they just going to make up more excuses for keeping me there? Gah! I don't want to be locked up on top of that stupid skyscraper ever again! I'm not sure this airship deal's much better, but at least I can do what I want.
Though... there isn't much to see or do right now except train. On top of that, more than half the people I've met are annoying wimps. Dammit! I wish we'd hurry up and finish here so I can go looking for Master Van!
