Have the Voters of Ohio and Texas Saved the Republic?

Mar 05, 2008 21:05

Thanks to Texas and Ohio, Senator Clinton is back in the race.  It was looking grim there for a week or so, but maybe this will help Senator Clinton to defeat Senator Obama and save the republic.  Well, really I don't think any of the people running for president will do that much harm or good no matter what happens over the next four years.  Maybe the primaries yesterday will at least save the republicans.

I don't think Senator McCain can win win against Senator Obama.   So we have to hope for the best on Senator Clinton for a little while.  I think she'll do well in  Pennsylvania with all the blue collar workers there.

The press has really exposed how odd our primary process is.  It's an odd collection or different systems with primary elections, caucuses, and the Texas Two Step.  I suppose this is one of the last vestiges of states' rights.  It's clunky and strange, but I have to admit that I like it.
