Landline Free
Back when Bev was in the hospital with Eleanor. I bought new phone's because Bev's was broken. We've waited two years for the contract to expire. Now Bev has a nice shiny new Blackberry from T-Mobile. My service contract was bought out by the sheriff about a year and a half ago.
Now our phone number that we've had for the last 14 years is Bev's cell phone number. I can be reached at the cell phone number that I've had for about 5 years.
We've had Vonage since we moved, and we'll be canceling that. I'm on hold to cancel our Nextel service as I type. Amazingly enough, they don't seem to care that much about how long I wait to cancel service.
Edit: I waited 48 minutes on the phone to cancel Nextel.
