Ivan Basso is an Italian biker, riding for Team CSC, a bike team rival of Lance Armstrong's Team Discovery.

This is what he said at a recent public appearance

When asked by a member of the public if his recent Tour de France rival Lance Armstrong was clean, Basso replied succinctly: "When I rode behind him in the peloton he always smelt nice..."

Very strange.

Missing guy
I got an e-mail regarding some guy that was missing in Topanga this weekend. Apparently he was a member of a friend's church, and gave a cell call at some early morning hour (before dawn), and then disappeared. I saw the news yesterday, and apparently it's true. I didn't know the guy
