A good episode, FINALLY. And here I thought this one was gonna suck ass.
ELLEN/BOBBY, ELLEN/BOBBY. IT WAS EVEN BETTER THAN I IMAGINED. For fuck's sake, they brought back the fucking Campbells, why not Ellen? She is so awesome, I love her. Maybe we can start a huge letter writing campaign because I seriously want this to happen. I seriously am going to push for one if there's a seventh season. That's how serious I am about it. Bobby really does deserve a little happiness and how adorable would it be for her and Jo to live at Bobby's and they flirt all the time and it's obvious they're in love. I'M SHIPPING HET, THIS IS MADNESS!
Speaking of shipping, WE HAVE ALL BEEN BITCHSLAPPED WITH SLASH. "The angel in the dirty trenchcoat who loves you." I don't even ship it and I love it, and really there's no need to ship it because it can be 100% true and still not mean Dean/Cas because we never got verification that Dean feels the same. Hell, I've been saying that Castiel has had some unrequited feelings since S4. It's nice to see Dean/Cas shippers finally get something this season and I like how Castiel called both Dean and Sam his friends. SEE SAM, YOU SHOULD HAVE HUGGED HIM, WTF. The only thing that annoys me about it is how smug and bastardy some fans are, going "ahaha, see, our ship wins!" Dude, if we're supposed to take things that other characters say about a pairing as complete truth, then Sam and Dean are soulmates who are erotically codependent on each other. I'm just sayin', you can't have one be true and not the other.
And by god was this a hilarious episode. Blondie and Celine Dion. True, I'm still annoyed that we don't get nearly the amount of classic rock that we should be getting, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't enjoy Sam and Dean tempting fate and Balthazar's "awk-ward."
All in all, it was a touching episode and I was so upset that Ellen wasn't alive. I'm glad it really wasn't about Balthazar hating Titanic and being a diva and more about cheating and getting more souls to use in the battle of heaven.
