IDEK GUYS *FLAIL*
I find myself at odds with this episode, but only because it was so good. Yeah it kept up with the theme of 'we're fucked, we can't do shit, everything is pointless' that I'm getting sort of tired of, but I don't think I can truly hate it until we get to the end of the season, because if it ends with more of this overly depressing shit, I will be so mad because god, why can't there ever be happiness at all?
But besides that negativity, BEST EPISODE SINCE MYSTERY SPOT Wait, I forgot about It's a Terrible Life. The intro SLAYED ME, then little Sam and the fireworks! NEGL, I actually started to cry during that scene. Dean was just so happy, and I knew it was his heaven. But then of course depression stuff occurs with Sam's happy memories being Dean's worst, and even though it broke my heart and reminded me of bad stuff, I could forgive it because FINALLY, they were mostly centering on SAM and DEAN and not just using them as supernatural avatars. See show, as long as you remember that the show is about Dean and Sam, I can take a surprising amount of emo and not bitch.
And then ASH!!!!!!!!!!!! I FREAKING CHEERED AND CLAPPED MY HANDS LIKE A COMPLETE IDIOT, IT WAS AWESOME. A++++++ Pamela was all right, but I loved ASSSSSSSHHHHHH more, lol.
And the ending, OH GOD. I am fucking slayed, fucking slayed. First, CASTIEL LOSING HIS FAITH. IT WAS HEARTBREAKING ENOUGH. And then, oh then.
Dean threw away his amulet.
DEAN THREW AWAY HIS AMULET.
OH MY GOD. SAM, YOU HAD BETTER FISH THAT SHIT OUT OF THERE AND THEN DO SOMETHING AWESOME THAT HELPS DEAN RESTORE HIS FAITH IN YOUR ASS AND IN THE SEASON FINALE GIVE IT BACK TO HIM.
