Random post is random
For some reason I've been reading Pinto fic, and I am enjoying it quite well. My mind was already there, so I asked myself, what would happen if I were to casually check ontd_startrek one day and the first post had the title "Pinto: IT'S REAL" and an actual picture of Zach and Chris making out?
1.) Heart would stop, jaw would fall open.
2.) Spontaneous orgasm.
3.) Faint.
4.) Check to make sure it's not a 'shop.
5.) Orgasm again.
6.) Unholy squeal of a validated fangirl
7.) Shaking and crying.
8.) Attempt to comment on post, can only type: LSDIFJAOPIDFJA;SLFJOASDIPISEFJAL;VNJAEIOPIFJLAK;SDJFKLASDJFALSD
9.) Hyperventilate, go into a corner to calm down, do a completely ridiculous happy dance from the corner back to the computer.
10.) Cancel all RL plans: Today I will see nothing but sparkle text, macros, and romantic youtube music selections.

And while we're on the subject, I have a rec, and I would LOVE to get recs in return since I've only read a very, very small handful of Pinto fics. I promised myself I wouldn't get sucked into another RPS ship after J2, but well, PINTO.

Twenty Minutes - Do you ever do that thing where you see a fic with a huge word count, then go and read the first few paragraphs, deciding then and there if the rest will be worth your time? Don't start reading this fic unless you've got time on your hand, because JESUS, it will suck you in immediately. Basically it's about Chris getting a phone call from someone who says that he must do whatever they want in the next twenty minutes or Zach gets shot. Then it goes into a little fuck-or-die territory, and I swear the author does a stupendous job with making it not hot at all, only terrifying and soul-shattering. But it doesn't stop there, because then you get to see the psychological aftermath, how Chris and Zach stop being friends because Zach doesn't know what really happened, Chris is too terrified to even answer his phone anymore, and then a whole year later things start changing, and Chris gets a call from a detective. The fic handles the psychology of the other victims of this mystery person, and it even takes a wholly different route than the usual "crazed fan just wants to see Pinto get off' shtick, which I appreciate to no end. So yes, I am tempted to re-read it already.
