Progress Report

Well, since my post back on January 20th, I've managed to avoid getting fast food (with the exception of Taco Time and Subway, but what I got there was pretty innocent compared to the TRIPLE BACON BEEFZILLA BURGER). I haven't really started exercising yet... but I did more or less officially start a diet. As of today, I'm going to be buying a lot of Slim-Fast products, in other words. The thing that appeals to me about this is that the diet supplements are actually pretty tasty and the general philosophy is pretty logical: Eat Sensible Portions. Although the Slim-Fast snack bars and shakes aren't cheap... I'll be eating out a lot less, so in the end it's a net savings of money for me. Also: Unlike some other programs, you don't have to pay membership fees for this one. Well... buying the snack bars and shakes is kinda a membership fee, I guess, but not really since I gotta buy SOMETHING to eat.

Anyway. My bathroom scale has a dead battery. I need to grab a new one so I can track how things are going. That's the next step.
