If I Had Magic Powers...
...I would probably use them to (among other things) make Pathfinder products as awesome as they could be. Full-scale battlemaps for each volume, deluxe player handouts, minis for every foe, and full details on every nook and cranny in every dungeon, city, and wildland. Each volume of Pathfinder would be the size of an unabridged dictionary.
Of course, I don't have magic powers, and Pathfinder is on a really merciless and brutal schedule. There's a finite limit to what a half-dozen people can actually do in a single month of work, and we're pretty much running right up to that limit right now.
The frustrating part is not being able to make some fans understand... to produce an amount of X and hear back "I wish you'd produced X+1."
I guess it's a good problem to have... I guess it's better to have customers who can't get enough of your product rather than customers who get sick of you and stop being your customers.
It's still frustrating, though. ESPECIALLY when it frustrates me enough that I can't get to sleep and when I do I have a hard time waking up. Sometimes I feel like I could sleep for a week... those times are usually between the hours of 8:AM and 11:00 AM. Then there are times like right now where there's so much work needing to be done that the thought of sleeping (or coming home to relax with any other activity) make me feel so guilty I get an upset stomach.
Or maybe I'm just hungry. One day into this diet and I'm already going crazy. That's normal, yeah?
