It takes me until about this time of year to care about football at all, and I've been having a hard time knowing when to look for the Huskies on CPTV.

How many days until Spring Training?

So, the Sox won for the second time in four years a few weeks ago. Since then, they've re-signed two major free agents - Curt (Bloody Sock) Schilling and Mike ('07 WS MVP) Lowell. They're about to extend Terry Francona's contract as Manager and they've got a full stable of young talent from their farm system.

A couple weeks ago Joba Chamberlain, rookie phenom pitcher for the New York Yankees threw two balls over the head of Kevin Youkilis and was immediately ejected without any warning. Phew! Tito didn't listen to me and Okajima got him to hit a soft liner to second in the ninth, leaving Abreu waiting at first for the guy who pinch ran for Giambi and has all of 34 games in the majors under his belt to strike out!

Exciting game.
