WELL. I never thought they’d go there with Brody and Carrie so quickly! And boy, did they go hard. HOT. I also see in the preview that there’s more next week. *twirls* It’s so fucked up, and I LOVE IT. Was Carrie really drunk, or just playing him? I think she’s getting in way over her head. Also, they are adorable drunks. Hee.
It was only a matter of time before Uncle Mike got a beating, and I think Brody was well within his rights (and that other asshole deserved the punches, too!), even though I totally sympathize with Mike and Jess. I love that Jess apologizes to Helen. Jess is awesome. I really root for her to find happiness, whomever she ends up with.
Awesome how Brody looked at the camera for that last question on the lie detector. He totally knew Carrie was back there, and clearly he’s a good liar. And hmmm, Saul’s first test didn’t go so well, eh? But now is it too obvious that he’s the mole? I just don’t know. Everyone knows it’s possible to beat a polygraph. In the immortal words of George Costanza, It’s not a lie if you believe it.
They did a nice job making me feel a bit sorry for Faizel and his wife. More so him; I knew he was toast. Eeeeee, this show! SO GOOD.
And yeah, the Brodys really need to stop having parties, because they don’t turn out so well. I felt bad for Brody doing the walk of shame home and calling his daughter what was clearly an old pet name. Felt bad for all of them. Therapy for everyone, stat.
