I am so in love with Southland and so afraid that TNT will not order any new eps and that I'm going to have to go through withdrawal all over again. Amaury Nalasco is a great addition as Regina King's new partner, and I'm very happy to see him in a role that doesn't do my head in. (I couldn't stand Sucre on Prison Break. He was just so stupid!) Also, Regina is so excellent in this role. Love her!
I'm also loving Ben McKenzie and Michael Cudlitz, of course. Both such great actors and I adore the characters. It's so awesome that the show got Taylor Handley to come back and play the douche who dates Ben's sis again. I love the consistency with the tertiary characters. I wonder if we'll see Nora Z. again?
I really enjoy the storyline with Nate and his teen daughter. Nate, being sullen and judgemental is NOT going to help your cause. Treating her like a pariah will just make her run into her gangster boyfriend's arms all the faster.
I'm totally with Sammy on the fact that the other detective who set up the stakeout is deeply, deeply annoying. Clearly he's going to end up getting them all into big trouble/danger. And as annoying as I find Sammy's wife usually, I totally agreed with her that she should be allowed to use his membership card! Heh.
Although she wasn't in this ep, I adore Chickie. I also ship her and Ben, and I hate that there are only four episodes left. They're not going to be able to do any storylines properly. Come on, TNT. Order a few more at least. [-o<
Also watched the White Collar finale. No deep thoughts, but I wholeheartedly enjoyed S1 and am looking forward to S2!
I'm enjoying the final season, but there's still too much separation of our heroes. I was really glad to see Sun reunited with Hurley and Jack at least. And happy to see that she hugged Jack and isn't still hating on him. Yay! And finally, Widmore. I was wondering where he was.
It makes me sad that Sayid and Claire are evil now. But perhaps Jack and Kate will live happily ever after with Aaron after all?
I have no idea where it's all going, but I'm sitting back and enjoying the ride.
