A few quick comments about TV this week

1. Jared Padalecki needs to stop pumping up. Put down the steroids, Jared! You look disgusting! Bulging veins and a square head do not = attractive.

2. White Collar has become one of my very favourite shows. Matt Bomer and Tim DeKay are a delight. Hell, Tiffani Thiesson is a delight! I never thought I'd say that.

3. Bill Henrickson has lost his fool mind.

Does he really think that they won't be outed as polygamists??? Bill, you live on a defacto compound with your three wives in three houses! Anyone could figure it out, least of all a political rival digging for dirt. Also, that he and Barb would lie to the LDS church to get back in for political gain is just wrong. I'm not even religious, but I would think good ol' Heavenly Father would disapprove.

I'm totally loving Alby's forbidden love for Dale. That scene between the two of them when Dale said that there's no same-sex love in heaven, so they won't be like this forever, was just so sad. I'm sure it's going to end really badly for them.

Speaking of forbidden love, I've been on board for Margie/Ben for ages. I hate the hypocrisy of the Principle and how men can love more than one woman but women can't love more than one men. Eff that.

Oh, and I'm sad they recast Teeny, but apparently the actress was growing too fast and time was passing on the show. It makes sense, but it's still a shame.

Zeljko Ivanek is such a great villain, and Joey and Wanda are idiots for falling right into his trap. Gah. Also, if Zeljko is molesting Cara Lynn, I won't be surprised. LOL at Margie's horror over his lack of finger nails. Ugh.

4. I did enjoy Lost, but I was quite disappointed in two things.

What am I, new here???? Did they really expect me to believe Sayid was dead? They'd better not cry wolf like this again, because next time someone dies I'll be rolling my eyes and waiting for their resurrection. I can't believe that was the big dun, dun, DUN ending. I expect better. Clearly Sayid wasn't dead. I'm guessing he's Jacob now, because I can't fathom why else they'd all be in deep trouble if Sayid died (as per the Other).

Also, Juliet's death scene last season is one of my fave moments of the entire show. So why they felt the need to water it down by doing *another* death scene is beyond me. Miles could have just been standing by the hatch and have sensed her body to pass along the "it worked" message. Not that the second death scene wasn't well acted, but it was so unnecessary.

That said, I'm really digging the alternate universe/whatever the hell's going on. Can't wait to see more!

lost, supernatural, white collar
