Came to the city to celebrate beginning of spring break. D. came with me for once, which is very nice. We saw The Fairy Queen (Shakespeare/Purcell; Jonathan Kent-William Christie production at BAM) last night, which was truly astonishing, if a little labor intensive (4 hours). Going to Whitney today. I jumped on the train after school yesterday and headed down to New York for my (30th) reunion. The school does a really nice job of these events: an assembly and reception at the school for all alumni, then each class heads off to a watering hole for its own party. was pleasantly low key. David got back from his miniterm in Paris last Monday at the end of two snowstorms which were 14 hours apart. We went down to my parents for the day on 25th. My big holiday creative project was an assortment of butter cookies, all based on the same dough.
