- Innocent World Overseas shipping - Innocent World was the brand that got me into Lolita, but in order to get my hands on one of their items required going through courier service which makes it quite a bit more expensive to purchase. I must say compared to many of the other brands that have overseas shipping (Meta, AP, Baby) Innocent World info page is probably the most in depth and helpful. I'm also wondering if with the opening of overseas shipping if there will be an explosion of Innocent World's popularity like there has been with Baby the Stars Shine Bright and Angelic Pretty? In any case, I actually have my order form as one of my tabs at the moment. I'm getting the 108 cm length of the jsk with the crown embroidery on it in black and a bonnet in black. I'm excited about the bonnet. I'm going to be looking for reasons to wear it EVERYWHERE even if it is huge and ridiculous.
- Coming out at work - Late last week I kind of accidentally came out to my co-workers, but it went A LOT better than I thought it would but then again I'm always a bit hesitant to come out to people especially other black people. I also found out at the same time that one o my other co-workers is also bi, someone who I wouldn't expect. For some reason, I was and continue to be very tripped out by finding other black bisexuals. To be honest my only experiences with other blacks in the GLBTQ community have been rather femme gay guys and very butch lesbians.
- Pride and Prejudice and Zombies by Jane Austen and Seth Grahme - Smith - I haven't really read more than a few paragraphs in it yet, but what I've read so far is hilarious. If I remember correctly, this book is the first in a series of classic novels that are being rewritten with monsters in the them or something.
- The Virgin Suicides - I'd never seen this movie before today. Visually I thought it was great, plotwise a little creepy, but overall good.
I rally need to make a list of things as the week goes on because by the time Thursday rolls around I can't remember anything.
