Thinking more about costumes I am leaning more towards Death then either Jack the Ripper or The Mad Hatter. The main reason is because Death would be easily recognized, has a lot of potential for creativity, and does not lend itself to me needing to take weapons into a bar. Still haven't found my keys...

On the bright side almost everything is ready for the party tonight. Just need to clean my kitchen. I even carved a pumpkin! Pictures tomorrow.

As noted previously, I ordered a tea pot to go with my costume. What I hadn't expected is that I REALLY like it. It is pretty awesome to fill it up, let it steep with only one tea bag (it is a small, 3 cup pot) and then drink it out of a real tea cup. The pot keeps the tea fucking hot and then the cup cools it off quickly. Fucking perfect ( Read more... )

Well... Mad Hatter Day came and went (it was yesterday people) and I didn't really do much of anything. I guess I did make a ton of headway on my costume so that is something anyway.
