My origional plan this Halloween was to reinvent the Mad Hatter costume from last year. Rather than the garish mess that I had last year I was going to go for a much darker, patchwork, and entirely different type of mad Mad Hatter

That sounds awesome! And I completely agree about being recognizable. Last year was unfortunate for me.

This year I'm being something pretty unoriginal: a vampire.

I am still flip flopping between Death and Jack. Both have ups and downs which I suppose means I need to either write a blog post or make a spreadsheet... or both.

Both!.. or sketch it out. Sketches always help. I'm sure whatever you choose will be awesome.

I finished my costume today. I got some of my grandmother's old costume jewelry from my dad's house, bought a dress, and I already had black boots. Now I just need to figure out hair, makeup, and if I need anything else. Any suggestions? I plan on drinking red wine. Unfortunately, my drink choice will do me in early and I'll have to cut myself off so I won't make an idiot of myself, but at this point in my life I don't really care.

I'm still debating on whether or not I should skip the fangs or buy some. The last fangs I bought looked horrible.. probably because of the quality. I thought of making my own, but I don't know what material I could use that wouldn't be toxic.

I'm going to try to come to Tulsa for Halloween, Sarah is planning on throwing a party, so hopefully I'll get to see your costume.

I am working on the sketches and I am going to talk to Holly (the lady who does my hair) because she is the only one I know of that is more crazy about costumes than I am.

I would recommend a cape, but that is because I really like capes.

Glued on costume fangs could be pretty cool but there are also a lot of guides online on how to make your own.

You probably already know that Jason dumped me because he thought it would be best if we're apart, so I understand if you don't want to invite me to do whatever you plan to do for Halloween. I'd still like to hang out with you before (at least), or hang out until he comes( I don't know how awkward it would be since he doesn't want to stay friends), see your costume, and finally see your loft.

I wouldn't mind doing a couple of shots either. :/

I figured but Jason has not told me yet. I don't know when Jason is coming down but I bet it will be that Saturday. If you are in town then we can all (you, me, sarah, whoever else) can hang at my place/ 209/ Majestic that night.

That sounds like a lot of fun, especially since I was/am really looking forward to seeing you, your loft, and costume (everything I mentioned above).

I just didn't want it to be awkward for him. I'm pretty sure he doesn't want to talk/see me again since he said he doesn't know how we could just be friends, but it's hard having the same friends. I haven't been bar hopping in the longest time. It's long overdue.

Plus, we'll be in costume which makes it even better.
