Title: Chocolate
Author: biancamasuda
Fandom: NewS, KAT-TUN
Pairing: Masuda×Shige, Masuda×Jin, Shige×Kusano
Rating: NC-17
Disclaimer: I don't own them because a 82536892365982635 year old pedophilidic man owns them.
Summary: Masuda and Shige have been dating since high school, now deeply in love in their adult years...they could be considered a married couple. Inseperable as they are, Masuda's new boss, Jin has an eye for Masuda, and plays homewrecker. Will Masuda give in, and accept Jin's invitation to temptation?

Ooook so...this is a birthday fic for Masuda, Jin and Shige, since Masuda and Jin's birthdays are so close to Shige's.

Well it was supposed to end on Shige's birthday...but to the utmost obviousness, I had not finished it. Thus I'm going to continue it and make it way longer than I intended!

Ok so this is literally turning into a drama that pisses you off. I'm really sorry. Yuck.

OK SO. IT SEEMS LIKE I WAS ON HIATUS. THE LAST TIME I POSTED WAS SEPTEMBER 4TH? I've been SO busy. But I'm back. I hope I don't ever take that long again. I wanted to write so bad.

Please enjoy, guys! <3333 I love you guys so much!

“Babe? Are you alright? Did I do something?” Hironori knocked softly on the bathroom door. He heard sobbing. Something was definitely wrong.

“No! It’s not your fault! You didn’t do anything. You’re wonderful…” Shigeaki slipped out of the bathroom, face only inches away from Hironori’s. “I know…I know it’s Christmas eve. And it’s just so unfair of me, but…I really have somewhere to go…”

“I understand. Good luck, Shigeaki. I love you.” Hironori’s face wore a smile, but Shigeaki knew what was hidden underneath. He wished it didn’t have to be like this.

“I know. Thank you, Hironori.” Shigeaki kissed the opposite gently on the forehead. A tiny click indicated the chain around his neck escaped the soft skin. He placed it in Hironori’s hand. “Merry Christmas.”

“Merry Christmas.”

Hironori stood on the spot in front of the bathroom, hearing the apartment door close. He finally let the tears burst out, his eyes almost burning to do so. His muscles weak, his knees buckling, slamming onto the hardwood floor.

He knew Shigeaki had his heart in a different place. And it kind of broke his own.

“Ah, Tadayoshi…” Takahisa grabbed Tadayoshi’s wrist.

“Hm?”

“I…would it be ok if you just stayed here for a bit…I think I want to go alone. Please stay…I still want to hang out. I just…I really think I should do this alone, right now. Please stay.” Takahisa burned his determined eyes into Tadayoshi’s, the taller one feeling the desperation in his friend’s voice.

“Of course. Good luck. He loves you, Takahisa. Don’t forget that.”

“You’re a great friend, Tadayoshi.”

“Hurry up. You’re wasting time.” Tadayoshi smiled.

Takahisa grinned, pulling his taller friend into a tight embrace before running out the door. But not before shouting out a loud “Thank you, buddy!”

“Anything for true love.” Tadayoshi whispered to himself.

Shigeaki drew in a sharp, cold breath, the freezing air almost burning his lungs. He just couldn’t stop running…his legs wouldn’t stop. But unlike Takahisa, he was totally not physically active in any way. The only physical activity he ever gets done was in the bedroom.

He gasped for breath, finally slowing down as he reached the apartment he made so many memories in. It had been so long. He stared at the windows, all the lights turned on, Christmas trees proudly standing in the apartment living rooms.

He was almost afraid to go in as he stared at the window he knew to be his and Takahisa’s apartment. But he was starting to freeze, and even a tiny wind seemed to pick up, cutting into his face.

He had to now…no more stalling.

Shigeaki finally made his way in front of the door. Was he going to knock? Or was he going to just use his key and go inside? Would Takahisa open the door if he said it was him? Would Takahisa have someone over?

His fist seemed to knock for him, his brain in a totally different place.

No answer. He knocked again.

“Takahisa?” A voice from the inside said. Obviously, it wasn’t Takahisa’s.

The door opened, revealing a very tall Tadayoshi.

“T-Tadayoshi?!” Shigeaki exclaimed.

“Shigeaki! Shigeaki, what are you doing here!”

“What are you doing here?! Where’s Takahisa!”

“He went out to look for you! He left maybe, ten minutes ago! Perhaps to that other guy’s apartment? I think he assumed you were there…”

“Shoot…I just missed him? What…what should I do? I guess I can call him…” Shigeaki pulled out his cell phone and shook as he dialed Takahisa’s cell number. He had to correct it three times.

A faint melody came from the living room, Tadayoshi’s eyes going wide, walking over to the coffee table.

“Ah…he forgot his cell phone.”

Shigeaki ran his fingers through his hair.

“Shigeaki…you love Takahisa, right? You would never leave him?”

“N-No…I would never. I love him.”

“He should be going to your friend’s apartment. Please go find him. He needs you now. It’s almost Christmas.”

“Thank you, Tadayoshi. Thank you.”

Shigeaki felt himself stomping loudly, and quite speedily down the hall, his adrenaline revving up.

“Wait for me, Takahisa…I’m coming…”

××××××××

Takahisa stumbled inside Hironori’s apartment building, his body shaking from head to toe. He didn’t realize how cold it was until he went inside.

But maybe he wasn’t shivering because he was cold.

He hesitated as his right fist urged to make contact with the apartment door, but his palpitating heart almost prevented him. Was it fear? Was it excitement?

His left hand opened as he looked down, the tiny ring resting peacefully on his sweaty palm. He hadn’t let go of it since he was back at his own apartment.

Takahisa finally knocked. Louder than he expected, too.

There seemed to be no sound coming from the apartment at all. What if they were out? But he was sure the lights were on. But he assumed on Christmas eve, people would be partying or enjoying themselves.

He knocked again. Again, no answer. Maybe he should just call Shigeaki and ask where he was. He stuffed his hand into his jacket pocket and realized it was empty, except for a gum wrapper.

“Shit…my phone…”

Takahisa guessed if someone had been home, they would have answered already, unless they were ignoring the door. There was no point in staying. He might as well go enjoy Christmas with Tadayoshi for now.

He sighed heavily, knowing he wanted nothing more than to see Shigeaki before Christmas. Takahisa needed him in his arms. His heart literally ached. And he always thought people just said that to be dramatic.

He wiped his tears before he opened the door to exit the building. He didn’t want his face to freeze any more than it was going to. He looked up as the cold air smacked his face.

It was snowing.

Takahisa lifted the collar of his jacket to warm up his face, trying to avoid letting any more tears come out. It felt like the hardest thing to do at the moment.

As he walked, it almost felt like he had nowhere to go. Of course, Tadayoshi was waiting for him at the apartment…but he wanted to be with Shigeaki right now. It became more difficult to move forward as he finally gave in, sitting on the seat of a freezing swing in a totally frosted, empty playground.

The metal chains that held up the seat scalded his right palm, his left hand sitting in his lap, clutching the gold band tightly. He looked at his watch. It was almost midnight. Almost Christmas.

Takahisa threw his head back, watching the glacial powder descend from the darkness above him. He almost didn’t care that his tears started to freeze, crystallizing painfully on his cheeks.

It seemed as he stared at the sky, no sound was heard around him. He didn’t hear the sports car with the blasting music speed by, he didn’t hear the familiar jingle of the door as a shop door was opened…everything was frighteningly silent.

He closed his eyes, the temperature not seeming to bother him anymore. His face still pointed up as he stared inside his eyelids.

That was when something oddly warm and soft melted the frozen tears on his cheeks. An oddly familiar feeling. He opened his eyes.

“Don’t you know what the temperature is out here? Now’s not the time to be swinging about at a playground.” Shigeaki’s gloved hands cupped Takahisa’s face, the fleece like silk to his skin.

Takahisa felt his lip tremble as he gazed at the picturesque face above him.

“How did you know I was here?” He choked out, the tears threatening to emerge again.

“I went to our apartment and Tadayoshi said you went to find me. And I was on my way back to Hironori’s when I saw you here. It was a bit odd seeing someone alone at an abandoned playground on Christmas eve.” Shigeaki grinned, his face slowly breaking space between Takahisa’s and his own. Their noses touched.

“Wait!” Takahisa suddenly exclaimed, gently pushing Shigeaki away. He got down on one knee, the cold playground gravel digging right into it. He opened his left hand, revealing a tiny gold ring.

“Shigeaki…I hate myself for doing what I did to you. If I could turn back time and prevent it, I would. I want to make it up to you. Because…because I love you with everything I have. Please take me back. I need you more than I need to breathe. I need you more than I need food in my stomach. I need your heart more than I need my own. You’re my life, and you’re all I have. Please forgive me. I will never, ever do it again…ever. I love you.”

He pulled the glove of Shigeaki’s left hand and slipped the band on Shigeaki’s ring finger.

“Please…take me back…please…I can’t live without you.”

Shigeaki grabbed a fistful of Takahisa’s jacket, dragging the man upwards, making him stand.

“If you think I would take any person back that said such corny things, you would have to think I was crazy.” Shigeaki’s pulled Takahisa closer. “Then again…you are truly the only one that knows how crazy I really am. Just kiss me, you crybaby.”

And in a second that hardly even existed, their lips meshed together in a jumble of red, a sickeningly saccharine ambiance exploding in their chests as the moon emerged from the clouds, and it became midnight.

A very beautiful Christmas it was, indeed.

××××××××

“Wasn’t it a little cruel…kicking Tadayoshi out?” Shigeaki asked into Takahisa’s lips.

“He seemed pretty excited to get out of here. He’s a really good guy.”

“I know, I know, now shut up.” Shigeaki slammed Takahisa against the bedroom door, their fingers intertwined in a tangle of fingers.

“Excuse me! Don’t tell me to shut-mmmpf!” Shigeaki’s lips devoured Takahisa’s. How could he have been away from these lips for so long? The sweet taste almost blew his mind on the spot. Only, he knew there were always other things that were more mind-blowing than the taste of Takahisa’s lips.

Takahisa found himself almost literally thrown into the bathroom, as Shigeaki plugged the drain, and turned on the water. Pouring body wash in rhythm with the running water, thick, foamy bubbles forming slowly.

“What are you…?” Takahisa scratched his head.

“I feel like a warm bath.”

“So what am I here for? To watch you?!”

“You’re an idiot sometimes.” Shigeaki grinned slyly, and their clothes seemed to come off themselves, as the tub finally filled up.

Takahisa squealed with delight as he submerged his body in the perfectly warm, foamy water. Shigeaki kissed Takahisa’s forehead as he joined the larger man in the tub, his smaller body instantly protected by Takahisa’s strong arms, his back against his lover’s chest.

“I missed you.” Takahisa mumbled in Shigeaki’s hair, rubbing his nose in it.

“I missed you too.” Shigeaki turned his body and clutched Takahisa’s against his own, resting his head on Takahisa’s shoulder. “Don’t you dare let me go.”

Takahisa held Shigeaki’s naked body tightly.

“Nothing could ever make me do so.”

“Merry Christmas.”

“Merry Christmas, babe.”
