Rose has learned there are a few things in her life that are distinctly not friendly to her or her mental state of well being.
This list includes many things but right now there are three very linked, and very bad such things as bombs, hero complexes, and the Time Vortex.
Bombs. Create panic, remind her of the time she was trapped as a hostage and

She's been running around, offering her assistance- mostly in the area of finding people who need to be found- and trying to keep herself from falling apart. She already did that once at the funeral and she'll be damned if her rock-hard defenses crumble in a time of crisis. She's Penny-the-Rock, dammit.
But right now she needs to sit down and rest- possibly find Juliet (she doesn't even have to look for her, which is wonderful) and tell her to do the same thing, because God only knows what she's doing running around with the doctors. As it turns out, she just happens to sit down near Rose.
"You all right, love?"
She certainly doesn't look it, but it's a stressful time. No one looks it. And it's only polite to ask.

As the onslaught of images subsides Rose lifts her head, shuddering, and croaks out in a raw voice, "Right as rain, me. Just goin' through some Rift-induces bouts of crazies. That's all."
Muscles clenching, face pale and clammy, Rose struggles into a sitting position, and tries to look a little less insane.

"So it seems we have another victim of the Rift changing in ways that aren't for the better," she notes dryly. "Why it feels the need to abuse people I'll never guess."
Because it's the Rift, Penny. It doesn't have to have a reason.

"Well, if there's anything I can do..." She starts and then shakes her head, because it's silly. She can't make whatever the Rift's done to this poor girl go away.

This is a problem, of course, as Rose can't tell if this pain is real, or just feeling the pain of the Doctor, of Martha and Jack.
The only thing she knows is real is the headache. Time Vortexes tend to do that to a girl, she's noticed. They leave behind some impressive headaches.
"Maybe an ice pack for my head. D'we even have anythin' like that down here? I'm still pretty new here..."
Her face screws up as another, smaller, wave of pain washes over her and she's left panting, "Sorry. Name's Rose by the way. Forgot to introduce myself. Bad manners, that, innit?"

And her smile widens and she laughs a little at Rose's last comment. "Well, I didn't introduce myself either, so I suppose we'll have to forgive each other, won't we? I'm Penny."
She crosses her arms over her chest and bites her lip. "This shouldn't take long. I'll just find Juliet and we'll fix up that headache straight away."
Which would normally require leaving the room, but Penny's past the point for needing to leave to find someone. All she has to do is close her eyes and think, which is probably rather odd for someone who's never seen her work what the Rift gave her before.
"Oh there she is," she says, nodding slowly and opening her eyes before turning back to Rose. "I'll be back in a second."
She leaves and then returns a few minutes later with an icepack and the necessary painkillers and hands them off to Rose, beaming. "Voila!"

Rose tosses back the pills dry and plasters the ice pack to her forehead with a sigh of total relief, "Yep, you're a hero alright. My new, favorite hero."
She leans back a bit and quirked a look over at Penny, "Can you find people then? Or just that one person?"
Even in pain Rose is unshakably curious. Always.

She sits back down and steeples her fingers, smiling tightly, because while her ability is certainly nothing horrible- so many have it so much worse- the irony of it bothers her to this day.
"No, I can find anyone," she frowns a bit. "Or anything, actually. A human tracking device, essentially. All I have to do is think of what I want to find and I know where they are."
Unless they're dead or in another world... Then she just gets a migraine.

She yawns, and winces as the movement causes pain to spike again, as it is becoming a constant feeling near the base of her skull.
