Rose has learned there are a few things in her life that are distinctly not friendly to her or her mental state of well being.

She's been running around, offering her assistance- mostly in the area of finding people who need to be found- and trying to keep herself from falling apart. She already did that once at the funeral and she'll be damned if her rock-hard defenses crumble in a time of crisis. She's Penny-the-Rock, dammit.
But right now she needs to sit down and rest- possibly find Juliet (she doesn't even have to look for her, which is wonderful) and tell her to do the same thing, because God only knows what she's doing running around with the doctors. As it turns out, she just happens to sit down near Rose.
"You all right, love?"
She certainly doesn't look it, but it's a stressful time. No one looks it. And it's only polite to ask.

As the onslaught of images subsides Rose lifts her head, shuddering, and croaks out in a raw voice, "Right as rain, me. Just goin' through some Rift-induces bouts of crazies. That's all."
Muscles clenching, face pale and clammy, Rose struggles into a sitting position, and tries to look a little less insane.

"So it seems we have another victim of the Rift changing in ways that aren't for the better," she notes dryly. "Why it feels the need to abuse people I'll never guess."
Because it's the Rift, Penny. It doesn't have to have a reason.
