Neal is out and about, as per usual, though he's walking with a cane. It doesn't do much to help him but it's something. The white board he's been using to speak is under one shoulder and he has a coffee in his hands. There;s also a bag slung over one shoulder with a sketchbook and drawing supplies

This would be why she's prowling around the upper floors and why approaches El's door, and comes to an abrupt stop in her search as she picks up on the woman's pain.
She's hesitant for a second only because she doesn't want to intrude on somebody's solitude, but the door is cracked open and -- well, she can help and she can't pass that up.
So she open the door a little wider, very carefully, and takes a step inside, careful to keep her voice very quiet she she addresses Elizabeth. "Hey -- are you all right?"
A stupid question, but a decent opening.

"Please don't open it that much," she says, her voice tense as she turns her back on Abby and the light. It takes her an extra moment to realize she has actually been asked a question, nonetheless one as silly as 'are you okay''.
"I'm all right," she replies. "Just a headache, that's all. I'm fine." She smiles tightly,

"Would you like it to go away?" she offers softly. In any other situation, she would probably just find an excuse to touch her without asking, but invading somebody's room and then starting to handle them without an explanation is probably not the smartest way to handle things. "I can help, if you want."

"Abby, right," she says, not turning around. "You're wone of Neal's friends."
One of Neal's questionable friends. she is weighing her options. The last friend of Neal's she trusted worked out well but.....

It's not the first time she's been to Millie's shop. It's good coffee and it's not too far from her, so she's been there a few times, mostly before or after her class. And she needs to pass it to get back home from where she was, so she decides to pop in and get a drink.
And then stops just inside the doorway, looking around wide-eyed and clapping a gloved hand over her mouth as she watches everything in the shop sing and dance. After a second for the shock to fade, she's left with a look of pure delight.
She'll remember what she came here for in a minute, but right now there is a living shop to distract her.

She knows Abby would be one of the people who could appreciate the wonder that her shop is right now, the magical life that it's taken on. She's actually quite pleased to have her come around.
"What an we do for you, hm?"

"Coffee?" she requests, moving towards the counter and leaning on it. "Something with chocolate in it and lots of caffeine. Got anything that fits the description?"

The shop sets to work making Abby something before Millie can even move. "I guess I do," she says with a grin, coming around the counter to give Abby a quick hug.
"Though, if this isn't very good," she whispers. "it's not my fault."

So this would be why he's circling around the bottom of it and then, once he finds the way in, heading up to the top to see if there is any explanation up there.

So, instead of waiting for his new found owner to get up and investigate, the little puppy bounds to the top of the stairs, barking down at Nick before starting down, wobbling a little on the first few steps before tumbling down the rest of them.
It was not intentional but, being a puppy, he has little dignity, so he does not mind.

Of course, then he notices the man on the floor, and the dog is set down and forgotten as he goes to check and make sure he's not hurt. "Are you okay?" he asks, concern evident in his tone, as he kneels down next to Theta to take a look.

He does always enjoy seeing Aurora, though, so he makes his way over to her once he sees her, grinning widely and giving her a hug once he gets to her. "Hey."

She's just being silly, don't mind her.

He has no complaints about the silliness. A little silliness is good.

But as soon as she does, Helen sees a gold swirl of dust start at her ankles and work up her body, higher and higher until it's reached the top of her head.
Or at least... it was her head, but she's not quite sure what to call it at the moment. You see, Helen's been turned into a talking tea pot. She's also on the floor of the shop and doesn't much like being so low. There are a lot of feet milling about and she's afraid she might get cracked.
"Erm... hello? Excuse me? Any chance I can get a lift?"
Reply
"Oh, Helen!" She giggles and she runs over, picking up the new tea pot-ified Helen and setting her on the counter. "I---I'm sorry?" She's not sure if she should apologize for her shop or not.
"You okay?"

"First thing's first. I need everyone on their best behavior. Just because you can move does not mean you should. Millie works very hard and takes very good care of you- er, us." She very well can't have them realizing she doesn't belong here. "So what's say we show her how much we appreciate it, hm? Let's go. Back to work."
She turns back to Millie and smiles. "That should keep them busy for a few moments."

"Thanks hon," she says with a smile as she watches the various appliances fall in line. "You didn't really have to do that but I'm not complaining."
She moves to sit on the counter next to Helen, watching her shop take care of itself. "Is there anything I can do for you? I mean...I don't much know what could be done at this point but I'd do it if I could." She smiles a little. "Can't say i ever had anyone turn into a teapot on me before."
