Neal is out and about, as per usual, though he's walking with a cane. It doesn't do much to help him but it's something. The white board he's been using to speak is under one shoulder and he has a coffee in his hands. There;s also a bag slung over one shoulder with a sketchbook and drawing supplies

It's not the first time she's been to Millie's shop. It's good coffee and it's not too far from her, so she's been there a few times, mostly before or after her class. And she needs to pass it to get back home from where she was, so she decides to pop in and get a drink.
And then stops just inside the doorway, looking around wide-eyed and clapping a gloved hand over her mouth as she watches everything in the shop sing and dance. After a second for the shock to fade, she's left with a look of pure delight.
She'll remember what she came here for in a minute, but right now there is a living shop to distract her.

She knows Abby would be one of the people who could appreciate the wonder that her shop is right now, the magical life that it's taken on. She's actually quite pleased to have her come around.
"What an we do for you, hm?"

"Coffee?" she requests, moving towards the counter and leaning on it. "Something with chocolate in it and lots of caffeine. Got anything that fits the description?"

The shop sets to work making Abby something before Millie can even move. "I guess I do," she says with a grin, coming around the counter to give Abby a quick hug.
"Though, if this isn't very good," she whispers. "it's not my fault."

Millie gets a tight hug, and she laughs at the whisper. "I won't blame you," she promises with a giggle, watching the shop work. "I guess you haven't had to do much today, huh? It seems to be taking care of itself pretty well."
Reply
"Pretty much<' she says, keeping one arm around Abby. "it's not let me do much of anything since I came in. it seems to wanna do it all itself."
"I'd argue," she adds after a second. "But it's just so fun to watch."

"Maybe they just want to give you a break," she suggest, nudging Millie's side lightly before leaning into the older woman. "It is a putting on a pretty nice show for you -- oh! Thank you!" The last part, laughing, is directed to the cup which settles onto the counter and nudges her arm to be picked up.

"hey, I take plenty of breaks!" She sticks her tongue out at the girl but is distracted when the cup gets Abby's attention. "Well lookkit that," she says, quite impressed. "I'm still not over how neat this all is."

She grins, picking up the cup and taking a sip. "And it's pretty good, too. Almost as good as yours. I guess they've been learning from the best."
