While Becky is not happy with what's happened to her darling friend, she's coming to see Luke in a pretty chipper mood. That'll probably be good for him in the long run, anyway. She has home-baked brownies, some fun movies, and stuff for facials and manicures. He's a guy, sure, but he likes touch, and giving him a facial (if he'll let her) might be nice and relaxing for him. So she's at the Kashtta with her bags, looking around for a certain shapeshifter.
In another part of town, Buffy's out and about re-connecting with Xander, so there are two Guardian angels at loose ends around town. Mat is in a diner near the Conrad, poking at a sandwich and fries. He's having a pretty good day, since he talked to Fred yesterday, and he'll actually be pretty talkative should anyone engage him. And Tay is in Grant Park, flopped in the grass on her stomach, absently pulling up grass blades one at a time. She's not as talkative as Mat, she's feeling sort of like a third wheel with Buffy since Xander showed up, and she's kind of conflicted about it.
Not to mention everything that's swirling under the surface.
