I have had numerous conversations with my parents about how Facebook works. My dad is a Vice Principal and still teaches classes and my mom teaches grade 4. My dad asked most of the questions because there has been a lot of bullying going on in my old high school over Facebook. Nasty things are being written on peoples walls, pictures that people didn't want up and videos of people being horrible. I told my dad that I watch what I put up and aren't like some of the people on there. I have seen some things that my dad was talking about and I was pretty horrified. But nothing horrified me more than what I saw awhile ago.
A video was made of a bunch of people that I went to highschool with making fun of me. Disgusting things were said about me and it went on for a very long time. Everyone was laughing, thinking it was the best thing ever. And all of these people are on my friends list so they knew I would see it.
Highschool was 3 years ago and I still haven't escaped that hell. My pregnancy sparked a lot of post graduation bullying that I could hardly deal with and now I want to know just exactly how much people are still talking about me.
I'm still hurt over my experience and this video. This just goes to show that bullying has hit a new all time low. Online bullying hurts just as bad.
