happy new apartment
I absolutely love our new apartment. It's much brighter!!!! That's the main thing that makes me so happy with it.
David loves it too, but I think his reasons are mostly because of me. I'm happy so he's happy.
We're slowly getting things organized. Well, I'm getting things organized. It's something to do during the day while he's at work.
I'm working again next week for Lincoln Centre Incorporated.....LCI. I had a really great time the last gig I did there, so I'm looking forward to it. I think we'll be striking the same show I did the hang for that day.
The weather has been gorgeous and today I'm determined to go out and take some pictures. I'll have to find batteries first. My camera eats batteries so quickly.
I feel like things are right in the world, now that we're living in a decent apartment that makes us happy. Our kitchen is especially awesome. We have so many freakin cupboards we don't know what to do with them all. Our last kitchen was 1/4 the size. Plus we have a dishwasher, which is totally sweet!!! I've never had a dishwasher before.
I can't wait for Christy to come see it.
While trying to unpack and put things away I've often thought of Ashley and how much I"d love her help with all this. She could give me great advice on how to arrange the furniture and where to put our wall hangings. She has a much better eye for such aesthetics.
