I'm not sure I can properly express how nice it feels to be able to say I'm actually done with a writing project. I mean yeah, it's only a rough draft, but it's an actual finished manuscript. I'm not at all sure I've EVER been able to say that before. Not for something longer than 15 pages in high school or something cheesy like that ( Read more... )

Well I figured out my solution for the dilemma I described earlier - it's at least something that will work to round things out for now and give me a finished manuscript. So I didn't update on my Thanksgiving for a few reasons, one of which was that technically it wasn't over until this evening. In general, a good time was had. So the packing last night and the getting out of the house on time this morning actually went really well. I had hoped to be able to write on the bus from home to the airport, but even I would have been getting nauseous if I'd tried to work, so that time was lost.
