I went out tonight and saw the latest Star Trek movie. As a complete noob with zero ounce of Trekkie knowledge, I still found it highly enjoyable. It was fun, exciting and had superb casting. Some observations:

I have, since the last time I posted, managed to watch the 2005 film version of Pride and Prejudice AND all six episodes of the 1995 BBC mini-series. That's a lot of Mr. Darcy for one girl in one day. (Oh, Colin Firth...you even make me want to watch Bridget's Jones' Diary!)
