You drive me crazy / I just can't sleep

Oh November, you crazy month of...craziness. (My descriptive skills. They are brilliant. Although I think that quoting vintage Britney Spears song lyrics is pretty telling on its own...)

*Life is still overtaken by applications. I have a scholarship application to sent out tomorrow and two other applications due by the end of this month. Even if the profs who are giving me reference letters LOVED me before this semester, I`m not sure they still will after weeks of my continual pestering. Sigh.

*The back is MUCH BETTER, thank you all again for your good wishes. The acupuncturist is a genius, though she puts me through intense bouts of PAINPAINAPAINNNN each time I go. I`ve also been told off from any rigorous physical activity, so the yoga and swimming plans will have to wait. (Oh hai, convenient excuse!)

*Sometimes I forget that I go to school and have lectures to attend. It seems that my main reasons for physically trekking all the way to school is either to see professors about said applications or spend time for my friends. Finals, they are in a month. This cannot bode well...

*As for work, forget it. I've barely been in for the last two weeks and while the office doesn't really mind, this lack of working is starting to show in my bank account. SADFACE.

*The Paris preparations have also taken a backseat to more pressing matters. (For those who don`t know, I'm going to Paris for an exchange semester come February, yay!) I've been warned about the tremendous slowness of French bureaucracy, so I really should start the steps for the student visa. Also, it'd be nice to know where I'll be living for those six months. That's right, I still have no lodging! The uni there put me on the waiting list for student housing and I haven't heard from them in months... Hmm, I wonder, do churches still give asylum to poor homeless people? Because I'm all up for pulling a Quasimodo and living in Notre-Dame-de-Paris! :D

*Also: OMG, so many birthdays in November! How come I had never realized that my birth month was so popular? I've been refusing invitations left and right, and still I manage to find myself out almost every weekend. Amazing. (And yes, , I will most definitively be showing up to yours.)

*Finally, I cannot get this out of my head. Stupidly addictive Katy Perry song + AVPM awesomeness = hopelessly addicted from my part.

Hope everyone's staying warm and doing well!

i will be healthy...tomorrow, academics, paris la jolie, music is the soul of the food, fretting, applications supplications
