(no subject)
first long, tired week of the semester down. I've been working tons - I only have two classes and one is online, so I have a lot of availability at work, and I've been getting 8 hour shifts, four days a week. phew. Once I get used to the work life again, I hope I can get back in the swing of things. Even though it's just two classes I have a lot to read/write, and I need to get going on my own stuff, too.
Oh! But I did get another story published :) Something I wrote last semester, to a free online weekly called writingraw.com, so yay. more cred, keep it coming. The other night a classmate and I drove to New Smryna Beach to see a reading, and it was a really nice time. We saw the beach, ate a nice little dinner, met some writerly people.
Nothing tonight, since I closed at work, and have to close again tomorrow. It's one of my coworkers 21st tonight, and we've been saying that when she turns 21 we need to go out. So I'm not sure why I didn't get the invite to go down to Ibar tonight with everyone else from work. It's pretty pathetic when I see coworkers all posting on their status "ibar tonight!" and I just feel sad for myself. Not inviting myself along, either so...I'll just sit here, being mopey. bah.
