Christmas was quite good this year. I had trouble sleeping and only got about four hours, but I just drank plenty of coffee. Gifts were fun - I did most of the shopping this year for my mom (she'd just hand me the money and send me off), so it was especially nice seeing everyone open gifts. I got the usual things, but was surprised by a DVD of the old super mario bros cartoon, and the first season of gossip girl. (and I've sucked my sister into GG and we've been watching it nonstop, ha).
Otherwise, with everyone working all day, I've been home a lot, playing video games, watching movies. No wireless, so I have to steal it from neighbors when I can (I was lucky to find some signal today). Wish I was being more productive (like writing, editing, reading for next semester) but I feel sort of....meh. I kind of need these lazy days, but again too much time alone and in my own head messes me up. Need to keep positive. My brother's attitude and constant nagging doesn't help. Although yes, I do enjoy coming home, these visits need to be brief and sparse.
Ok, onto a dozen links:
