so jacob lives in a neighborhood in chevy chase, md, right on the dc border, called friendship heights. and there are mostly nice high-rise apartment buildings, and mostly well-to-do retirees and young professionals who live there. needless to say, it is a little odd that i roll up in there on a regular basis in my noisy ten-year-old station wagon ( Read more... )

i am skipping the pottery class in hopes of getting to catoctin with a little more daylight left. this was like the only free class i could do though. baltimore clayworks classes are so expensive. but more important is being outdoors today, or at least driving past all the beautiful autumn colors in the mountains ( Read more... )
