sorting it all out

i am having a much-needed Quiet Night at home. i'm still behind on stuff at work, but i'm chipping away. i am determined to finish this year a better person.

in the meantime, i made a pot of tea (tension tamer, of course) and installed a wireless card in my new(er) computer. yay, not having wires all over the floor. there's still stuff all over the bedroom, but at least that's done, and most of the dishes are clean. i also cleaned the bathtub (as well as i could) and i'm running a hot bath.

something nice: one of our learners returned to spain, and his last day in class was the day i was substitute-teaching.

behind the camera: satoko (japan)

this evening i remembered that i was walking, that the cow is out of my living room. i am so happy to be walking, and to be doing something real. it's so easy to lose sight of that.
