Everybody's working for the weekend

Which, I suppose, is better than everybody's working ON the weekend.  I hope that you aren't, because I'm not.  At least, I'm not going to be getting paid for anything that I'm doing.

No, my weekend plans are very exciting!  They consist of:
  • leaving work early today to meet with the wife & lawyer to write up our wills
  • cleaning the house on Saturday, though I did most of it last night already
  • possibly doing some of The Renovations that I haven't touched in about 3 months
  • relaxing, maybe playing a computer game or two
  • hanging out with friends?  That's a nice idea...
  • visiting my parents on Sunday afternoon to learn how to make pastry dough (and by association, sausage rolls and pie shells)
So, who wants all my old BeOS memorabilia when I die?  Could be days, or possibly decades!  Only time will tell (or possibly Taffer, since he's a ninja and could conceivably be hired to kill me at some point)...

Also, I am considering having a "Superbowl Party", though that does not necessarily indicate that the party itself will be super.  The last one I had was pretty good - a lot of drinks were drunk, and only a few drunks spilled their drinks.  However, that was about 4? 5? years ago, so my party-throwing skills may be somewhat rusty.  Many of the people I would traditionally invite to these sorts of things have either moved or are out-of-town at the moment (my brother, RT, Dave).

Most likely, I will hem and haw about this until it is too late, and then I will watch the Superbowl alone, while $wife occasionally tells me how much football sucks when she wanders through the livingroom on the way to the kitchen :-)
