Everybody's working for the weekend

Which, I suppose, is better than everybody's working ON the weekend.  I hope that you aren't, because I'm not.  At least, I'm not going to be getting paid for anything that I'm doing.

No, my weekend plans are very exciting!  They consist of:

I'll take that BeOS stuff thank-you.

I can't figure out what computer game to get for myself, I haven't bought a game in ages and figure it might be nice to have a time killer around since apparently I have stopped all reading here lately. And nothing out there looks that appealing. Drat.

It really depends what kind of game you're into. Off the top of my head, I'm going to suggest Civ4, simply because of the nearly endless replayability.

I've also enjoyed Guild Wars (and its various expansions), which you might like if you're into the whole RPG thing. No monthly fees is quite nice, and most missions can be played through with henchmen, so you don't need to bother with pick-up groups at all.

Sid Meier's Pirates can be a lot of fun as well, and has probably been marked down to budget prices (< $20) by now.

I suppose that it really depends what genre you're looking for...
