The morning started out as all their mornings had on Vacation, a lazy cuddle and snuggle under warm covers before getting up to a family breakfast. Old habits (and cold stiff joints) woke Berwald in conjunction with the sunrise. He had slept better, the floor was hard and cold, but Nukka was curled up on him for warmth and snoring... like an old man.  Berwald was packing his very small suitcase. He had absolutely no warm clothes worth bringing to Finland. He dressed in his warmest sweatshirt and jeans and had every intention of buying a parka in the duty free airport shop when they landed. He'd shop for winter clothes once he got to Finland.
