I know oily-skinned gals like me should be wary of using cream products for the cheeks. A little bit of sheen mixed with oils does not make a pretty look. However, I've been super inlove with this trio of products and they don't really look all that bad together. It's either that or I've learned to accept the oily-sheeny look. Haha! Here's my fave cheek trio of the moment:
Illamasqua Cream Pigment in Hollow
My all-time favorite contour cream! This product has been in my wishlist for a long time and I finally gave in and bought it a few months ago. The cream looks like a light beige color but that's just the top layer. Underneath it is a gray-brown color perfect for creating a shadow under the cheekbones. To apply this, I dip my thumb in the product and then stamp that in the hollow under my cheekbone. Then I pat and blend using my fingers.
Topshop Highlighter in Polished
Along with their cream blushes, this is another cult product from Topshop. There are a lot of good reviews out there about this little pot of silvery cream. I like that you don't need to apply a lot to get a glowy look. To apply, I dip my finger in this product then dot that on top of my cheekbone and blend using my fingers. Then I take the leftover product and then apply that to the bridge of my nose and cupid's bow.
Stila Convertible Colour in Lilium and Camelia
The final cream product is this beautiful blush. I only mentioned two colors here but really, all the colors in this line are pretty! I also have Petunia which is a bright and cheery orange color. I have my eye on Rose and Gerbera next! This blush is easy to blend, pigmented and stays on the cheeks a lot longer than most powder blushes.
Have you tried any cream products for the cheeks? What's your fave?
