I hate people.
Margret, my mother's friend and computer tech-head, is tearing apart my old computer, reducing it to its components and using the salvageable bits in the new computer she's building for me. It's going to be amazing, with a new frame, more powerful processor, the works. I can't wait to get my paws on it. Sadly, it's going to take a couple of weeks.
Last Friday, Margret requested I send the memory sticks and new graphics card I got from NEWEGG to her, so she could install them herself and update the drivers, that way, she'll know everything is working order. So, I sent them out that morning.
Today, I got an email from her, saying the shipment arrived. However, when she opened the box, the graphics card and the memory sticks were gone, the box FOR the graphics card was still there, but it was empty. Somebody opened the box, pulled out its contents, then retaped it, and sent it out. In short, a UPS shit-head stole my graphics card and memory sticks.
To say I'm angry, is an severe understatement. Whats worse, is that particular graphics card, is out of stock, so either we the old card, or buy another one. This will probably set back the time I'll have to wait even LONGER. Today was suppose to be a good day. >:/
