And it continues!
So, we found out what the issue was with my computer.
It turns out, it wasn't the graphics card that was running hot. Rather, it's because the front fan for my computer, which regulates the temperate for the processor, isn't turning on, and because of that, the processor has been running at obscenely high temperatures, and heat is rushing out of the heatsink and onto the graphics card.
The fan works, it starts up when the computer boots, but it doesn't do activate afterward. I have no idea how to get it working again, luckily, my mother's friend in West Virginia is offering to fix it. So I'll be sending it to her on Monday. However, it will mean I'll be without a computer again for a week or possibly two...hopefully, I won't go insane.
On a happier note, we picked up two new box-sets of Mystery Science Theater 3000 from the mall yesterday, and I can't wait to watch them.
