So my favorite local station of choice is shifting their lineup. Jonathan Brown is moving to afternoon host and Bryan Schott is moving to morning host. Waking up this morning, I happened to switch the radio over to KUER FM 90.1. They announced this morning that Eric Tierney has died. Tierney wrote a very funny column for the Salt Lake Metro titled "The Gay Agenda." I had no idea he was ill, and always loved his writing. I am sad to see him go ( Read more... )

Is it weird that my whole routine is thrown off because Jonathan (local Morning Edition host) is off today? He's much better at making the station sound more like a commercial news/talk station. Those of you without a mix CD from BeyondThePain are missing out. I can't even convey how good this guy is with song selection. If I had a lot of $, he'd so be running my "triple A" station.

Someone needs to turn on a community station in Lewiston so he can program at least an air shift.

I suppose djjakers (irradiated) could program the rest.
