A short excerpt from my NaNo novel, 'Blue Crystal'.

"... Hey, Eliza? Are you on drugs...?"
My response. "No, but it usually seems that way, doesn't it?"

Met a cute geek down at Merlin's today. Seemed really into story-games... we traded email addresses and headed our separate ways. I should go to Merlin's more often. I can meet some interesting people there every now and then.
