Right, at the end of last week I had a bunch of highly textured pattern pieces.  At the end of this week I have a bodice which is possibly recognasable as Elphaba in progress of being made.  What I have done:

Overlocked each bodice panel IN BLACK (involved working at home on my own machine threaded in black, as all the ones at college are in white)

This was the most revolting play I've seen in a very long time. Unremittingly negative, grim, unpleasant unsympathetic characters in an unrealistic and unpleasant situation. A fewproduction elements were done well, the use of filmed signer/actors was done well, and the spoken stage directions was reminiscent of Rent, and was interesting. There ( Read more... )
