This makes me really sad. Cyd Charisse has died, I just read on the BBC.

She was an amazing dancer. Her scene in Singing in the Rain steals the show and made me fall in love with her.

The news that Terry Pratchet has early onset Alzheimers, according to the BBC , makes me sad.
The ability to be a great writer is the kind of intellect I respect the most, and aspire to.
To know that that is going to just waste away in the most horrible way ... well it's just so, so sad :(
