This is going to be a post with a total split personality...

*sings* This day next week is Chriiiiiiiisssssssssstmas this day next week is Chriiiiiiiiiiisssssssssssmas :D (Sorry spilled_coffee )
Yeah I may be a little excited. Kripke I love Christmas! :D (For anyone who doesn't know, as I have accepted Eric Kripke as my personal saviour I now say 'Kripke' instead of god. Also means I swear less :) )

No I don't have everything done, but it's mainly food shopping and it's tooearly for that yet. Will start making my list later I think.

So looking forward to having my sister and brothers home *hugs them*

Thank you stargater_gal for your lovely card! It was adorable :)

Sad. On Saturday a neighbour of mine from Home killed himself. He had been in the house for a few days when one of his friends, another neighbour, got so worried not hearing from him that he kicked in the door and found him. I don't really remember J, he was my brother's age, mid 20s, and never 'friends' with me as such, but my brother E worked with him as well as being neighbours and was pretty shaken by it. A friend rang to tell me on Saturday night. She was really upset.
Then yesterday another former neighbour killed himslef. He was a man in his late 50s/early 60s. His daughter was in my sister's class in school and his son in my brohter's class. They played polocrosse togehter.
My Dad is pretty shaken. I can hear it in his voice. Two of our neighbours in three days. And we live in a pretty small estate, only 40 houses, and most of the families have been there since it was built in the 1970s.
I know this is a time of year that some people find really, really hard. And I know when one person in a group or community die by suicide then it tends to have a copycat effect. That has already happened here. And I can sense there is a tension now, a 'will there be more?'
Look after each other. Let people know you care. I know that the smallest little thing, taking the time to say hi to someone, can be the difference between making it through another day and not...

happy, sad, christmas
