Long time no activity here - this is what happens when ravelry becomes addictive. Anyway, I just want to announce that it’s the SnB’s first birthday on 16 April in Starbucks, Castle Court , and it would be great to get a whole bunch of stitchers together in one place.

This year, by happy coincidence, talk like a pirate day falls on our SnB day. So my knitterly chums, I propose that on the 19th of September, our SnB should be pirate themed. I have found a lot of appropriate patterns and I'm sure you can find many more yourselves:

- We Call them Pirates (hat)
- Pirate Mittens (mittens, obviously)
